    Re: boosting audio

    Hello wasantha.uwu,

and welcome to Forum Nokia Discussion Boards!

By using Mobile Media API, it is possible to set volume level by using VolumeControl. More about:

Java Developer's Library 3.5 > Developer's Guides > Multimedia > Creating multimedia applications > Using the Mobile Media API > VolumeControl

    Re: boosting audio

This is supported in S60 3rd Edition FP2 (and newer) and Series 40 5th Edition FP1 devices (and newer).

Check the spec's of the device on which you are trying to run your application.

Other way will be to play with the volume properties of the encoded audio file to boost it... which will depend on the media type.

    thanks,
    Ekta
