    Hi,
I want to know why nokia is spoiling such a good forum ?
Earlier forum was good and user friendly now the look of the forum is not so good and also many download packages are not available for symbian c++.
is nokia is going to stop work on symbian c++ cause now no new devics coming in market ?
is nokia will shift to maemo ?
Please any experienced person let me know what should i study
    symbianc++ or maemo ?
    Thanks & Regards

Re: why nokia is spoiling forum ?

As per me i understanding As new forum sections (like Qt maemo etc) added and the number of visitors incresed significatly, the old forum might not serve the future need so in some point of time it needed to be changed, so the earlier it happens it is batter.

i think Ron can explain more.

As per Symbian.C++ or maemo it has nothing to do with the forum changes.

note: there is a dedicated section for nokia http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...vices-Feedback please post these questions there and help keeping this Symbian.C++ clean.

Nokia is not switching from Symbian to Maemo.
Nokia wants developers who use Qt.
Learning Qt will make you able to develop for Symbian, Maemo as well as other supported platforms.

So it doesn t matter which platform you prefer because tha idea is to have "Qt everywhere".

The forum looks elegant to me now more than the previous the point is we need to adapt ourselfves to it and then we can see this will be the same forum which was there earlier.

Re: why nokia is spoiling forum ?

Just to make it clear: Amit.mangal was given a "path" to the extension plugin in #5 of this thread: http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...pi-plugin-link
It works for me, it does not work for him. Can anyone else try following the description?
