    might be that your deletion is not successfull or giving some error put some logs to verify. if you delete them properly then message will not sent out (might give a panic.)

    as already told you in your other thread it all depends on the timing you have to be faster then the system. so try seeding up your application code and logic some more. mean time can you show us how you are deleteing the sms and the state.

    case EMsvEntriesChanged:
    //some code
    //User::After(KDelayTime);
    iMsvSession->RemoveEntry(iNewMessageId);

    Please do not jump into unrelated threads. You should have created a new thread for new problem. Anyways I am moving your posts to a new thread.

    Yes, I received your PM. I guess I told you to refer to Wiki page in another thread. Here is a direct link. http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...nline_Mode_.29

    You need to handle that in EMsvEntriesMoved as shown in the above article.

    Re: [Moved & created] How to block sending of SMS

    Hello,
    i did it with the same way as above
    case EMsvEntriesMoved:
    {
    TMsvId* entryId = STATIC_CAST( TMsvId*, aArg2 );

    if(aArg2)
    {
    TMsvId* entryId = static_cast<TMsvId*>(aArg2);
    if (*entryId == KMsvGlobalOutBoxIndexEntryId)
    {

    CMsvEntrySelection* entries = static_cast<CMsvEntrySelection*>(aArg1);
    if(entries->Count() >= 1)
    {
    iNewMessageId = entries->At(0);

    }
    else
    {
    Panic(ESmsEngineInternal);
    }
    }
    }

    }
    break;
    and i found it fine working with a panic , for blocking outgoing sms but i saw that after blocking some sms phone get rebooted .
    can any one help me with the code is there any prob ?
    is it the right way of blocking outgoing sms.

    i think its panicking as it might be going in :

    else
    {
    Panic(ESmsEngineInternal);
    }

    also what is the panic it shows up?

    Re: [Moved & created] How to block sending of SMS

    Sorry , i missed a line in the code "Removing msg ID" Code is as
    void CSmsHandler::HandleSessionEventL( TMsvSessionEvent aEvent, TAny* aArg1, TAny* aArg2, TAny* aArg3)
    {
    ....
    ....
    case EMsvEntriesMoved:
    TMsvId* entryId = STATIC_CAST( TMsvId*, aArg2 );

    if(aArg2)
    {
    TMsvId* entryId = static_cast<TMsvId*>(aArg2);
    if (*entryId == KMsvGlobalOutBoxIndexEntryId)
    {
    CMsvEntrySelection* entries = static_cast<CMsvEntrySelection*>(aArg1);
    if(entries->Count() >= 1)
    {
    iNewMessageId = entries->At(0);
    iMsvSession->RemoveEntry(iNewMessageId);
    EndKey(KSecond/10);

    }
    else
    {
    Panic(ESmsEngineInternal);
    }
    }

    break;
    ...
    ...
    }
    when i send sms it show the panic " Genral: Message deleted " SMS is blocked and deleted from the Outbox by this code but phone get rebooted after some time.

    i think its panicking as it might be going in :

    else
    {
    Panic(ESmsEngineInternal);
    }
    if it would be going in this then how the sms is blocked and deleted.

    Thanks.

    ok , is this behavior of restarting is on all the devices you have tested? May be you can try out it on some other device.The code of course is correct so i don't think its the reason of device getting restarted.
