I'd like to write a WRT app that shows users an image with multiple areas that they may click and I'd like to respond differently based on the part clicked. The various areas would have complex borders that may be adjacent so it would be hard / unreliable to define each area's border mathematically and then check if the clicked point is within that boundary.
I'm thinking of using a set of black&white image masks (one per clickable area). Does this sound viable with the current S60 WRT API? If not, can anyone suggest an alternative?
Without API support the only other option I can think of is to define the total set of points each area contains as a list - But this seems a bit brutal and could waste quite a lot of memory! Then again, in terms of memory, perhaps the image masks are no better!! :s
Thanks in advance for any help!
