    file system?

    How can I see the files and folder I have created in a file system.
    I know that I have to see in the folder
    C:\Documents and Settings\user\javame-sdk\3.0\work\7\appdb\filesystem\root1\

    It is the path I have to remember by heart?
    Under the folder work, there are many subfolders, 1,2,3 and so on.
    What are that folders?
    Why we have to use folder 7?

    1,2,3,4, are the different emulators that you have used from WTK

    7 is the emulator that you are using now.

    These folders keep data, PIM and FCA of different emulators separate.
    Thanks,

    No, get the path of folders using system properties.

    See the wiki.

    These System properties (for e.g: fileconn.dir.photos ) do not give me the full physical path on my computer (C:\Documents and Settings\ekta\j2mewtk\2.5.2\appdb\DefaultColorPhone\filesystem\root1\photos), but just returns me the path like (file:///root1/photos/);

    Is their any specific System property which can give me the real physical path of the file:/// which is equal to C:\Documents and Settings\ekta\j2mewtk\2.5.2\appdb\DefaultColorPhone\filesystem\
    for the emulator running on my system?
    Thanks,
    Ekta
