    Something like R_AVKON_SOFTKEYS_OPTIONS1_OPTIONS2

    hi!

what is the right way to replace the standard "Exit" button on the right side of the N7650 screen with another menu / options list?

using R_AVKON_SOFTKEYS_OPTIONS_EXIT gives you a menu / options list when pressing the left select button, and an exit button on the right. i don't find any examples or documentation on how to set something like a "context" menu instead of the exit button.

background: having several views - all of which directly selectable using the left menu button. some views should have an own menu - not replacing the left menu.

    thanks!

    Hi,

You have to create your own CBA resource structure. See uikon.rh for the CBA struct declaration. There are also many predefined layouts, see Avkon.rsg.

See "Nokia Series 60 UI Style Guide v4.0" document for recommendations how the softkeys should be set.

    Best Regards,
