    QT SDK 1.0 and .deb packaking

    Overall QTSDK is very nice effort to streamline the building
    process. The simulator and support for both Symbian and
    Maemo in one development tool is very welcome !

    I think there are still some missing features in building the
    deb package.. At least I didnt not found out howto perform
    those.. :-)

    The missing features
    =================

    Build target = Maemo -> Build All -> app.deb -> copy deb to
    device.

    1. Deb "descriptors" cannot be modified (author, description etc)

    2. Icons support (default icon.png should be automatically
    included in project and deb creation phase)

    3. Desktop shortcut support (default app.desktop should be automatically
    included in project and deb creation phase)

    4. DEB is not compatible with app manager (the section parameter
    in control file should start with user/* ). So you cannot "click and
    install deb."
