    Location capability and certificate?

Is it possible to develop and test an application using the Location capability WITHOUT requesting first a developer certificate? Because i want to try to develop somethinf using the GPS of my device BUT i always always get the

could not start application: general os-related error
error! (using self-signed SIS in Nokia Qt Sdk). Target is Symbian S0v5.

Note that non-capabilities aplication runs great...

(It seems to be a problem with Location specifically... also, i am using the Nokia Qt SDK downloaded yesterday)

PS: Is this maybe related to the qt_mobility 1.0.0/1.0.1 bug?

    Re: Location capability and certificate?

I have not tried the location capability in QT, anyway, Location capability should be usable with Self-signed sertificate starting from 3rd ed FP2.

    Re: Location capability and certificate?

I can cofirm: using Location capability either the app does not start.

It does not seems to be a certificate problem, then... So is this a Nokia Qt SDK bug, a qt_mobility bug or what? Still, its VERY annoying... very...

    Does anybody have any suggestionds?

Location in Mobility 1.0.1 is broken.
