I am developing applications in J2ME using Eclipse ME and the Nokia N97 SDK. I have developed the application and now want to create a jad file so that I can load it on the phone and test it out for myself. I have created the jar file using the "Export" option in the Files tab. My question is this:
1. How do I create a jad file? I used a program called JADMaker to create one. However, when I try to install the application on the phone using this jad, I get the "Compulsory Attributes Missing" error message. The jad file contents (after using a "cat" command on the above in a linux system) is as follows:
I have looked through almost all the past discussions on this topic including the page where the compulsory attributes of a jad file are listed, but to no avail.
MIDlet-Vendor: Midlet Suite Vendor
MIDlet-Name: TeleDB1 Midlet Suite
This is urgent as I would like to test my application out on a phone and get them "out-there" as soon as possible.
Any help is most welcome.
