    Location namespace problem

    Hi all,

    I have a class that check the internal GPS of the Nokia 5800.

    In the simulator, I don't have any problem but on the device, it doesn't find any include.

    I'm using Qt creator 1.3.85 (2.0.0 rc1) based on Qt 4.7.0

    Here are the include that make problems
    #include <qgeopositioninfosource.h>
    #include<QGeoCoordinate>
    #include <qgeosatelliteInfo.h>
    #include <qgeocoordinate.h>
    #include <qmobilityglobal.h>
    #include <qgeopositioninfo.h>
    #include <qnmeapositioninfosource.h>
    As you can see, I try to #include<QGeoCoordinate> instead of #include<qgeocoordinate.h> but no change.

    In the .pro file, I put :
    CONFIG += mobility
    MOBILITY = location bearer systeminfo

    symbian {
    TARGET.UID3 = 0xe2555057
    TARGET.CAPABILITY += Location
    TARGET.EPOCSTACKSIZE = 0x14000
    TARGET.EPOCHEAPSIZE = 0x020000 0x800000
    }
    I supose something missing but what and where ?
    I hope someone can help me.

    Thank you.

    Does this mean you are using Nokia Qt SDK 1.0 and compiling for Qt Simulator target and Symbian target?

    yes, I installed the Qt SDK from this page and follow the get started .pdf file.
    I download form here : http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n...ia_Qt_SDK.html

    Re: Location namespace problem

    You can search for qgeocoordinate.h and QGeoCoordinate under NokiaQtSDK directory. My guess is that SDK is partially installed and thus part of files is missing for Symbian target.

    Re: Location namespace problem

    thanks you divanov,
    I put the header in the Symbian directory, no problem now.

    Another problem, maybe the same but I'm not sure. I have a lot of warning but that refer to Qt library.

    For example :
    SYSTEMINCLUDE path "\NokiaQtSDK\Symbian\SDK\epoc32\include\osextensions\stdapis\" not found
    SYSTEMINCLUDE path "\NokiaQtSDK\Symbian\SDK\epoc32\include\osextensions\stdapis\sys\" not found
    .....
    /NokiaQtSDK/Symbian/SDK/epoc32/include/d32locd.h: At global scope:
    /NokiaQtSDK/Symbian/SDK/epoc32/include/d32locd.h:189: warning: invalid access to non-static data member 'TLocalDriveCaps::iSize' of NULL object
    /NokiaQtSDK/Symbian/SDK/epoc32/include/d32locd.h:189: warning: (perhaps the 'offsetof' macro was used incorrectly)
    /NokiaQtSDK/Symbian/SDK/epoc32/include/d32locd.h:190: warning: invalid access to non-static data member 'TLocalDriveCapsV3::iFormatInfo' of NULL object
    /NokiaQtSDK/Symbian/SDK/epoc32/include/d32locd.h:190: warning: (perhaps the 'offsetof' macro was used incorrectly)
    ....
    And I have a lot of that warning.
    Maybe you know that problem too

    Re: Location namespace problem

    I think you should re-install Nokia Qt SDK to make sure you have all necessary files.

    Yes I will re-install the SDK and see if the problem still.

    Thank you for your help.
