    Enabling Softkeys when using MenuBar

    Nokia 5800: I have a QDialog and attached to the dialog is a QMenuBar. When It runs the Left softkey show "Options" and the menu appears when the softkey is pressed. Fine so far. I want to use the right softkey which is currently blank but if I declare a QAction and set it's softKeyRole ithe softkeys do not appear. I have tried with the action parent being both the QDialog and the QMenuBar.
    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Enabling Softkeys when using MenuBar

    In my experience the menubar to softkey mapping works only in a QMainWindow. So I discarded inheritance from QDialog.
    The right softkey then is by default a "Exit", but I defined
    QAction* closeAction = new QAction(tr("Close"), this);
    connect(closeAction , SIGNAL(triggered()), this, SLOT(aboutToAccept() ));
    closeAction ->setSoftKeyRole(QAction::NegativeSoftKey);
    This works fine for me.

    Yup. Got that to work but if use use a menubar MainDialog->menuBar() then you can not change the softkeys with oyt the menubar disappearing. Besides: I have an app that uses multiple dialogs.
