QS60Style problem while naming the pushbutton

    Hi,

I am seeing a weird problem. I am using Qt4.6.3 with Carbide on windows. When I am naming my push button as "Reset", in the symbian ^3 emulator its showing gap between "R" and "e" letters as if additional space has been provided.
I don't have any problem when named differently. I tried various combinations. No idea whats the problem here. I even used setFixedPitch but still the space exists between R and e. When I used Windows Style it looks good.
Any idea what might be the problem. Is there any style thats more like specific to Symbian 3.

    Thanks

Does it happens for labels? Could you make a screenshot?

Re: QS60Style problem while naming the pushbutton

I'm not sure I'd trust the simulator to produce exactly the right result. More important on the simulator is that the spacing be correct so that you know if things fit. If the font is not exactly the right one then you may see some problems where the spacing is wrong for the font. (Eg, the "real" font may have a larger "R" than the one being used on the simulator.)

What does it look like on the phone?

Thanks for the replies. This doesn't happen with labels. Its only with pushbutton and that too only when using R and e. Also I am using emulator not simulator. I dont know even if emulator behaviour is same as simulator's. I haven't tested it on phone.
Here is a screen shot of one of my trailed buttons.

    I couldn't insert my screenshot.

When you reply at that time " Insert image" option at the top, click on it and write path of your file.
If it is not there on the options then click on the "Go advanced" button, and do the same.

It's enough to paste image URL.

    Two things:
    - what if you change the graphics system to "raster"? Launch app with parameter -graphicssystem "raster".

    - Is there a possible key accelerator in the texts? Can you post a small app that shows this issue?
