    Displaying a message WITHOUT resource

    Hi,

    I use the load of the resource during the runtime, I propose all the language available to the use and he choices wich one he wants, this runs fine; but I would like to display a message "No language available!" (I don't care about the style of the message) if no resource is found on the found and I exist the app.
    I have tried :
    Code:
    iEikonEnv->InfoMsg(_L("No language!"));
    but this crashes !

    Is there a way to display a simple message without any resource loaded ?

    PS: I run, of course, in a gui environment, no a console app !

    thanks for any answer,
    b.r.
    Domi.

    You can try if using InfoWinL makes a difference. If it still does not work, you can use CAknGlobalXy classes.
    Of course, after several years of coding "it crashes" does not count as a proper description of the problem.
