    SDK version #define?

I would expect each SDK release to define a unique #define to enable #ifdef's in source code to determine the current SDK release in use, in case SDK version dependent code is required.
I guess it would be something like __SDK_S60_V50__, __SDK_SYMBIAN3_V08__, ... but since I haven't found any definition of this, I am asking for your guidance.

    Thanks,
    PeterC

    Re: SDK version #define?

You can find the macros in epoc32\tools\e32plat.pm, however you will not find anything for the Symbian^3 SDK, check this thread: http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...Variation-Code

    Re: SDK version #define?

Thanks for the answer, that is just the info I needed (Although I obviously don't like having to use #else to determine that I am running S^3, but that appears to be the way it is today... stupid they are reluctant to add general release macros! I don't disagree that in many scenarios having the more detailed feature-specific macros is the way to go, but what if I simply for debug reasons wanted to log the string "Compiled with S^3 SDK v0.8"...??)

    Thanks,
    PeterC
