How to tello when app is pushed to background.

How can a Qt application (with or without help from Symbian C++) detect that it's been pushed to background by, eg, pressing the silver button? How can it tell when it's in foreground again?

Re: How to tello when app is pushed to background.

We can arrange such that when application goes to background it shows us notification message that app background.
When application again started so it should display that application executed(started) .

This process is same as we set the notification message of SMS send or receive in Qt.

OK, I'm guessing that the QEvent::ApplicationActivate and QEvent::ApplicationDeactivate events are the signals I need. Is this correct?

You can make small test app, reimplementing event() for the main widget and QApplication and see, which events are generated.
