    item.setText()...?

    Hi all

    Who knows what's the problem that the method setText() is not working in this example?!
    Im parsing some data from xml and im trying to show xml data to particular screen when i click over a list of buttons.
    If something is not clearly please ask me for more info about this project.

    HTML Code:
    public void commandAction(Command c, Displayable d)
    	{
    		if(d == list)
    		{
    			int index = list.getSelectedIndex();

    			//System.out.println(chapterData[index].toString()+"\n");

    			screens[index].setTitle(Integer.toString(index));

    			item.setText(Integer.toString(index));

    			display.setCurrent(screens[index]);
    		}
    		else if(c == exitCmd)
    		{
    			notifyDestroyed();

    		}
    		else if(c == backCmd)
    		{
    			display.setCurrent(list);
    		}

    	}
