    Just amazing Qt

It's just amazing thing that by Nokia Qt SDK built
    application worked on E71 (=Symbian S60 3rd ed. FP1)
    device.

    On-device debugging worked too.
New Symbian development environment world has born.

    By the way.
Java Me tools are out of current date.

And the second screenshot, that Qt built application
is running on my S60 3rd ed. fp 1 device :

You should try showMaximzed() to get better look in Symbian phones.

Here is screenshot from E71's screen running animatedtiles as "view->showMaximized" :

    I have one question:
How to "connect" S60 3rd ed. Fp1 device's hardware keys (like OK, EXIT, Options) to the
    Qt's application development environment?

Just like Exit button is "connected" on animatedtiles which is Qt application.

Thanks to you for your advice concernig about :

I just found this from Qt's documentation :
    Qt::KeyboardModifiers QApplication::keyboardModifiers () [static]

But as always studing new application's development platform,
the Help files are not the first place where to look about
    platform's properties.

So, if you can point some example on your site, how to
    connect S60 3rd fp1 device's keys (hw-keys like Exit,
Option, OK and so on) on the Qt's development environment.

Yes, there are examples about Qt and Symbian devices, but all those
examples tend to be pointing to the S60 5th ed. devices and newer
    one.

How about some Qt examples pointing to the devices like S60 3rd ed. Fp1 & Fp2,
where device's hardware key events are captured by the Qt application.

    Hi teknikko,
I have to apologize that I don't know much about S60v3.

However, have you tried to look at events similar to paintEvent and such?

No problem. Example for 60.3.1 device that constructs "native" menu is found from here:

    http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n..._1_en.zip.html

Screenshots from E71's screen that is running link's example (see menu):
