    Qt WebView Problem

    Hi, everyone
    I have a test programe like this
    Code:
    testWebView::testWebView(QWidget *parent)
        : QWidget(parent)
    {
    	ui.setupUi(this);
    	ui.webView->load(QUrl("http://www.google.com/"));
    	ui.webView->show();
    }
    it can load the page successfully, but when push the "search" button the old page overlapped by the new one, and when I try to load a google map, the programe exit, has someone encoutered the same problem, any hint will be helpful, thanks.

    First thing to try is to double you heap size:

    TARGET.EPOCHEAPSIZE = 0x020000 0x1000000

    thanks for your advice, that helps a lot, but the new page still overlapped by the old page, and the words still on the screen when the bar scrolling, so any other suggestion?

    that works, and the contents overlaps issue was reported as a bug, following lines will fix the problem:
    Code:
    WebView view;
    QPalette pal = view.palette();
    pal.setBrush(QPalette::Base, Qt::white);
    view.setPalette(pal);
    and there is another problem: I double the heap size, and the map was loaded, but when I load more the program exit too, can I free the old heap size when loading a new page?

    You ming try QWebSettings::clearMemoryCaches. I haven't tried it for similar purposes yet, but will be trying it shortly.
