Question Different settings on .PRO file for Device/Emulator builds

    Hey guys,

I was wondering if there is any way to accomplish this?

Let me explain, I'm using: "CONFIG += console" option to display console output. This works great for the emulator where I need to see my debug output.

But when deploying on certain devices, the console shows up on top of my whole application, which makes things look really messy. On some devices the console will simply not appear.
So basically, is there a way to remove the "CONFIG += console" option when building for the Device?

I know perhaps I could make a Build Step and make an xcopy of a different .pro file that has that option, but that sounds kind of dirty... Perhaps another ".pro" file can be attached?

You can do something like this:

    !maemo*:!symbian: CONFIG += console

    or

    win32:CONFIG += console
