Nokia provides two MobilePaint applications, one written with native Symbian C++ code [2], and one written in Qt. Drawing (on a Nokia 5800XM) works much better (smoother) with the native Symbian version, than with the Qt version. Why is there such a big difference? Needs the Qt widget implementation that much processing power, so that the pen's positions are caputred less frequently?
