    Mobile Extensions Telephony Api problem

    Hi
    I have tried to use the Qt Mobile Extensions. I use XQTelephony to monitor incoming phone calls, as I have to stop a mediaplayer when a call comes in. I use this example from the wiki (http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...one_call_in_Qt) and my .pro file looks as follows:

    Code:
    QT       += core gui

    TARGET = EnergyMobExLab
    TEMPLATE = app

    SOURCES += main.cpp\
            mainwindow.cpp

    HEADERS  += mainwindow.h

    FORMS    += mainwindow.ui

    CONFIG += mobility
    MOBILITY =

    INCLUDEPATH += C:\QtMobileExtensions\extensions\include\

    symbian {
        TARGET.UID3 = 0xe4ba8104
        TARGET.CAPABILITY += ReadUserData WriteUserData NetworkServices
        TARGET.EPOCSTACKSIZE = 0x14000
        TARGET.EPOCHEAPSIZE = 0x020000 0x800000
        LIBS += -lxqtelephony

    }
    The code compiles with no error, but when I try to run, it tells me that:

    Die Anwendung konnte nicht gestartet werden: General OS-related error

    Well, it's in german but it means that the app cannot be started because of a general OS-related error. Any ideas?

    Cheers, Lukas

    Hi,
    The code you are showing which contains the mobility API,

    And the question is about the Mobile extension.

    Earlier we were using mobile extension in Qt for symbian but right now we are using mobility API .

    See this two article about API included and New APIs for the mobile development.

    Re: Mobile Extensions Telephony Api problem

    Hi,
    the mobile extension libraries are no longer maintained i.e they are not compiled against newest Qt versions.

    There's a call notification feature coming in Mobility in a few weeks. If you still prefer using the extensions I've recommend this approach (compiles the API implementations as part of your project instead of running against DLLs):
