    hello aimanbdran

    Welcome to forum nokia dibo

if you have ever done c++ programming i will advise to start with Qt platform, its the technology nokia is pushing now a days.

The good thing about Qt is as newbie you will find it very easy and interesting to work with it.

If you are not interested then PyS60 is also an option for you.

    Hope this helps you.

    Regards,

Never mind the spelling mistakes, everybody (or at least me) do them all teh time. Anyway the technology (i.e. programming language) would depend on your previous experience and the application requirements you have in mind.

I would say that easiest way on doing programming with Symbian 5th ed devices would be doing WRT Widgets, for getting started see this one: http://www.forum.nokia.com/Develop/Web/Getting_started/

And if the functionality does not satisfy you, then have a look into Qt: http://www.forum.nokia.com/Develop/Qt/Getting_started/

Other possible technologies getting started materials could be found by following this link: http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...ne_development

Anyway, have a look, check which one suits you best, then try it out, and once you have problems, do ask in new threads and please remember to give good amount of infomration so people can help you easier.

QT is excellent choice, I have been amazed on how easy it is over and over again.. Though I do still like good old Symbian C++..
