    MIDP 2.0: End-to-End Sockets API Example

    I'm a newbie in J2me, I downloaded this example and tried it, I build, deploy and run it, but I can't login with the username and password provided... can anyone help me out here.

    Which application are you talking about?

    Well if there is the logging information then there must be some sign up/registering procedure then why don’t you try new user name and password and hit the server for the validation of your newly created user account.

    Try the SUN WTK Socket example first, it works.

    PS: Which are did you download and try ? Which server you used ?

    I downloaded MIDP20 End To End Sockets API Example, and I'm using Tomcat 6 server

    Hi,
    I downloaded the MIDP20 End To End Sockets API Example, everything is working, except the loging, and the midlet isn't coonecting to the http as well

    The http url which the j2me application on mobile points must be a valid active one. Incase of emulators you can run them with the url of the active local server. You can ping and check whether if you are able to access the local server through your machine. Also if you are using sun wtk then enable the network monitor to check the stauts. If you are abe to hit the request through the browser of your machine then the same should be possibel for j2me emulator also...
    If stll you face problems state the errors you see.
