You can make a midlet read and display another midlet, what you can do it call another midlet from one midlet - try to read this:

    Hello David_Jack,

Basically what ekttasrv posted below is something I also was assuming you might want to try out.

What is it you are trying to read from this Midlet X? You said you don't know its internal structure?

Could you maybe share with us maybe in a bit more detail, what way the instructed method did not work for you?

Maybe some more details could help us to work on your problem better.

    Welcome to Forum Nokia!

Unfortunately, there is no method specified in MIDP for doing what you want.

The documented mechanism given is Nokia-specific, and is supported on very a limited number of devices. What device(s) do you need to support?

Realistically, the way to solve your problem is to re-engineer the existing application into your own (so they become a single app).

    Best Regards,
I meant by i don't know the internal structure for the second midlet that, this midlet may be any j2me application which we dont have its source code only we have the jar file.

All i need to do is to open the other application inside mine,

    Thanks,
    David,
