    vcard memory problem

    hai
    below is the code i used to import vcard to contacts list,it works fine till 270(not exact) contacts after that shows memory full

    please helpp..

    Check whether you are laking memory, and make sure you are not. Then if you really need more memory than is allocated to your app, do increase the default max heap in your mmp file.

    it works fine i increased heap size to
    EPOCSTACKSIZE 0x5000
    EPOCHEAPSIZE 0x5000 0x6000000

    is there any problem increasing heap this much
    whats the safe heap size

    Not really, though you could end up reserving unnessarily large amounts of memory and preventing other apps from gaining the nessessary memory. Anyway, if the memory is needed for the operations and you can not figure out ways on doing it with lesser amount of memory, I suppose it might then be ok.
