    Question Doubt in alphabet?

    Hi,

    How to order the alphabet wise in the vector in j2me?
    for ex vector contains,
    car,
    cable,
    account,
    above,
    mango,
    james,
    jack,

    like this and i nee the result like this,
    above,
    account,
    cable,
    car,
    jack,
    james,
    mango,

    How its possible?

    Is this some kind of a school/course project?

    Perhaps you could do some research on sorting algrorithms and also look into J2ME SDK APIs/classes in case there's something that suits your needs?

    Once you've done a bit of work yourself, and still can't get your code working, then post your code attempt here and explain what it does and how it fails.

    Then, instead of someone doing your school assignment for you, you will be doing the work yourself and maybe learn something in the process.

    You have to write a comparable method in your Product class. Then you can just do vector.sort() or whatever collection you are using. It will sort itself using your comparable method. I think you class has to implement Comparator or something like that.

    vector.sort() not available in j2me. can u give me any hint or give me some exampls pls?
