    Hi,

MIDP 2.0 component List and TextField both should support touch events.

Yes High level UI is automatically touch enabled. Whereas, the low level UI i.e. Canvas based application needs to be touch enabled by putting the program logic overriding the PointerPressed, pointerReleased, and pointerDragged methods of Canvas class.

Where are you testing this - on some touch enabled device (some thing like Nokia 5800 or N97) or touch enabled emulator SDK on your PC (on PC you need to touch with the help of mouse pointer) and you may require to touch enable your emulator first for this in some cases.
    Thanks,

Re: touch support on high level item`s

I have no problems capturing touch events on high level list items
but I got problems with StringItems in Forms,
=> commandAction(Command, Item) is not triggered.

Anyone has the same problem and anyone has an explaination or a solution?
