Question QSettings in symbian^1 and symbian^3

    Hello.
I want to write an app in symbian^1 and symbian^3 in Qt (Nokia Qt SDK). I need to save the settings that are changed by the users. Is QSettings usable in Symbian? If it is usable, where is that stores in Symbian?
Or how can I get the path that my app installed in and I will save the setting file there?

    Thanks.

Yes, QSettings is usable. I have used it in Symbian. I remember it stores in 'data' folder..

Yes, QSettings is definitely usable. On Symbian, the application's private folder is a good place for settings. You can get that path with QApplication::applicationDirPath().
