Hi. Wouldn't it be great if all mobile phones were designed to record really good out-and-about audio? The 3G iPhone can, but my Nokia 5800 can not. The sound file is telephonic, thin, tubey, and no amount of post-EQ rescues it. Please, Nokia (and others) give more attention to this. The mike sound on my phone is inferior to a 30 Euro dictation machine. I need a portable for my audio day-job, reporting and narrating, and I don't want to carry lots of boxes around, nor should I have to pay Apple prices for what is surely no great technical challenge?
