Question Compiling QT Symbian Device Build on multi-core PC

    Hi All,
How do I configure the Symbian Device Build for my QT Creator project to use more than a single core when building?

I have a dual core machine with 4 threads, when compiling, I can see that cpp.exe only uses 25% of available cpu time.

    Cheers,
    Donal

QtCreator uses mingw gcc compiler for building projects. I'm not sure is mingw supports multithread compilation

It depends on what you are building for. Mingw is used for compiling your project natively for windows or for the simulator. Having done a little digging and looking at the Compile Output, it would seem that the epoc32 compiler (may not be the correct name) is being used to compile projects for Symbian Devices.
