Please refer to the code examples at FN Wiki for getting location using JSR 179 ---> http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...E_Location_API
and then getting map of my location using code example at -->http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...API_in_Java_ME

Combine above 2 to solve your problem.
    Thanks,
    Ekta

Your device 5610 is S40 5th edition Feature pack 1 device.............

Which does not contain Location API JSR-179.
    See here : http://www.forum.nokia.com/Devices/D...0_XpressMusic/

Re: how to show My Location in google map ?

    well to begin with :
    - obviously your emulator does not have a GPS chip so it will return a standard value, in this case 0,0... You can change it in the WTK emulator by going to File-> external events and setting a gps coordinate you'd like to test with... It won't obviously give you your real position...
    - 5610 does not support JSR179.. don't know what hat means ? look it up, there are plenty of examples on the wiki and on this forum
    - Google Maps app is obviously a pretty complex application developed by a team of smart developers You will notice that My Location isn't precise as GPS, they actually use the Cell-id's and triangulation to make an estimate of your position... If you'd like to use Cell-id's in your apps search this forum on how to achieve that, on most devices it's not possible !
Note: please don't send private questions to me, as I don't have time to provide private support. All such questions should be posted on public forums, where I and others can see and answer them.

If you do not have GPS on the devices you have, try getting a bluethoot based GPS device and try the wiki example -
