    undefined identifier 'HandleCommandL'

    Hi,

In my class definition I derive from CAknApUi class. And as per documentation, I need to override HandleCommandL(), HandleResourceChangeL() and HandleKeyEventL() for my application requirements.
But my definition of these inherited methods in .cpp file causes the compiler to complain that these identifiers have not been defined.
    Please help.
    TIA
    Vin

    Hi,

its not CAknApUi its CAknAppUi , can you check if its typo.

these can be directly derived from CEikAppUi.

    Re: undefined identifier 'HandleCommandL'

    Hi,
Thanks for the correction. But the typo was in my mail, the code has the correct spelling.
I need to derive from CAknAppUi I guess to get some extra features in my class.
But it should not matter whether I derived from either, as both should give me access to HandleCommandL() by inheritance?
    thanks
    Vin

    Re: undefined identifier 'HandleCommandL'

    hi,

check if you have included #include <AknAppUi.h>
you need to implement the virtual functions that you are deriving .in your class.
