    Raptor and Ovi Store

    Hi,
I've just seen that raptor tool chain is compatible with linux and gerally faster than abld. Is it possible to publish an app build with raptor on the ovi store?

Ovi Store doesn't really care what tools you use to build/compile software or the final installation package, as long as it fulfills the criteria otherwise.

As long as you get a sis file out it _should_ be a ok!

As this is not a library or sth, I think it should work. Why not try and let us know!

P.S. If you want to save signing money: send me a dummy app and I will try to get it published.

    Hi,
I would like to test a qt application. Could we try with a demo from the qt sdk?

    Re: Raptor and Ovi Store

Qt apps can be sold as long as they are based on 4.6.3 - AFAIK, 4.7 is not OK as of this writing, and neither is the (IMHO better) 4.6.2.

    All the best

Can not I compile with raptor using the binary version of qt 4.6.3 distributed with the SDK and the smartinstaller?

    Then it is ok.

I just wanted to save you from failing your experiment because you use an unallowed QT version!
