Does Qt 4.6(or 4.7 or qt-mobility-api) can catch the input event?

I want to write a virtual keyboard.
I think I have to get the event when user press the text edit line, first.
And then popup my virtual keyboard.

Does Qt 4.6(or 4.7 or qt-mobility-api) can catch the event?

The events are probably are QWidget::focusInEvent()/QWidget::focusOutEvent().

My virtual keyboard are a real vk, not noly use on my application.
I want It can use to any application.
The QWidget::focusInEvent()//QWidget::focusOutEvent() can not catch the event that the application are not written by me, right?

No, it's only for widgets inside your applications. System wide virtual keyboard is not an application at all and require integration into operation system.
