if you modify the packet in any way, you do need to symbian sign it again. Thus if it is configuration data, maybe you should design your application in a way that it actually fetches the data from a server when it is run first time.

Re: any way to signing this type???

till now copy wbxml file through pkg like this:-

    "$(EPOCROOT)Epoc32\data\settings.wbxml" -"c:\data\settings.wbxml"

ok,means directly not copy this settings.wbxml file,my app needs to fetch settings.wbxml through server and i need to change content of setting .wbxml on server???i m right sir?
    Thanks and Regards

if you wish to be able to change the "settings.wbxml" file after you have signed the sis, then my suggestion would be one way of being able to do so without needing to re-sign the sis file.

that is part of HTTP example, and it would be one nicely working way on doing it.

Yep, for me it still appears to be part of HTTP example, thus if you wish to use HTTP query for retrieving the data, you could add the file saving discussed in that wiki article to the HTTP example.

Then just don't query, I'm rather sure it does not come there automatically, but is actually handled by the code you are using. So please try out the codes first, and when you actually have a problem that you can defined, then ask again.
