    WML Coding

    hey guys, i'm new on wml coding and i want your help on something.

    i have a nokia 6610 and i want to create something like a gallery on a server and then using my mobile phone, download the images from there..

    i tried to do it using <a href="image path">image name</a> in my page but it didn't work (the error was: unsupported format). is there a specific way to do it ? (the same goes for the applications i tried to download this way)

    Hello

    Using
    <a href="imagepath/imagename.jpg">image name</a>
    looks fine to me.

    There could be other parts of your WML that is ot formatted correctly. Is the WML displaying at all? Or is it just the link which is having problems?

    Did you start-off your WML with something like
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <!DOCTYPE wml PUBLIC "-//WAPFORUM//DTD WML 1.1//EN"
    "http://www.wapforum.org/DTD/wml_1.1.xml">

    And then contain your WML in WML tags and card tags?
    Like this
    <wml>
    <card title="A Tag">
    <p>
    <a href="imagepath/imagename.jpg">image name</a>
    </p>
    </card>
    </wml>

    Re: WML Coding

    To simply place an image on the WML page then just use this code:
    <img src="image path" ALT="image name"/>

    If you want to make the image a link then use:
    <anchor><img SRC="image path" ALT="image name"/>
    <go href="name.wml"/>
    </anchor>

    Hope that helps
