I was googling around this topic but there aren't any good answers for it. Some people claims that Nokia actually made it possible to download them to N900 then the links what's provided to Nokia's USA site brings you through like 20 other page and you end up with squat.

How the hell comes that you cannot download whole mappacks such as EUROPE maps to your N900 and you must use the expensive WAP connection to keep downloading the map?

You know how much does that cost? For 1-2 hour driving like 80$ for wap connection.

I tried the latest Sygic maps but it definitely doesn't worth the money:

-maps are VERY incomplete
-menu is stupid
-you cannot window it (must close the map application completely if you want to exit)
