Monitoring memory usage of Qt application on Symbian device

    Hello,

Is there any developer tools or 3rd party programs for displaying memory usage (stack/heap/chunks) of a Qt application on a device. Platform can be either S60 3.1, 3.2 or 5th edition.

So far I have tried some task managers without any success:

    - JBakTaskMan: Displays some static memory usage, which does not change on runtime
    - Tasky 1.03: Installs but does not run on E51
    - PhoNetInfo: Does not give any details about single application(s)

What about Y-Tasks, and the Trace part of it, have you tried that one already ?

I don't think there's much. I ended up using the Symbian interfaces for extracting heap sizes, etc, and displaying the values occasionally in "borrowed" areas on the screen.

As you have the other thread in: http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...tion-on-device, I suppose it might not be memory related at all, and we should check first the actual issue behind there.
