Get a "Qt Quick" to work on Symbian Device

Sorry if this already has been answered in other topic - I couldn't find it.

Is there a way of having "Qt Quick" (QML) applications to work on device? On my Qt Creator I have only a QMLViewer option available. Do I need something extra there?

If I cant do that then... why even introducing Qt Quick if it does not compiles to Symbian code?

    Thank you for answer!

Thank you for your answer. I already browse those links but did not help me answer a question:

"How to make Qt Quick application run on device".

I got both Symbian and Maemo device but in Qt Creator there is no option to run/debug on Device. Am I missing something ?

if your application is a pure QML application (eg: apps.qml) you have to install qmlviewer which is the qt4-declarative-qmlviewer package for maemo.
On Symbian I think QML is not usable fun because of the missing hardware acceleration...then it's slow.
Qt Creator doesn't show the "play" button to run/debug QML in case qmlviewer is missing for that target.

I suggest you to create desktop QML apps for now.
