    Problem reading image

    Dear all,
When I read a gray image using the getpixel method, it gives the green component of pixels different from those of red and blue components. Usually all the red, green and blue component of a pixel are the same. The same image when I read in matlab gives the correct result. Can anybody explain why this happens? What is the solution for this?

    Re: Problem reading image

However you can see this logic of changing the R,G,B values of image. here : http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...raphics-object

One more thing you can not compare matlab with python.
The tool and library of matlab is different than the python function and module.

    Best regards,

Thank you Rahul for your reply.
I am clarifying something here. I am not comparing Matlab with python. I am just comparing the pixel values read. The pixel values would remain be the same irrespective what software is used to read it. I have studied the documentation of pys60 1.4.5 and 2.0, but nowhere getpixel method is there. It may be becuse, the method is not fully tested. There may be some errors in the getpixel method I used importing from the graphics method.
Similar problem has been reported earlier of the probable bug in the getpixel of the pys60. Some people talk of using the getpixel module in http://larndham.net/service/pys60/getpixel.py but I could not get this module.
