    Question A program error

    I downloaded a program from the forums,which name is< HTTP Client Example v2.2 >.Then I loaded into the carbide.c++,builded the project without any error.But if I run it ,there are three same errors that:"
    Code:
    Program file does not exist
    C:\Symbian\9.2\S60_3rd_FP1\Epoc32\release\winscw\udeb\HTTPClientExample.exe not found
      C:\Symbian\9.2\S60_3rd_FP1\Epoc32\release\winscw\udeb\HTTPClientExample.exe not found
      C:\Symbian\9.2\S60_3rd_FP1\Epoc32\release\winscw\udeb\HTTPClientExample.exe not found
    "I don't know how to solve it,can you help me?Thank you!

    Well that means the either the build was not successful as a result of which the .exe is not made or its made at some other location.Make sure you are building project for winsc udeb for emulator

    See again the console output for building, if the exe is not build, there are propably some errors.

    Maybe no!there are not any problem when I running other programs

    well then build your project & go to the specified location to see if the exe is made(make sure you are building for winscw udeb NOT gcce urel)

    Process to launch:
    HTTPClientExample.exe
    Location:
    C:\Symbian\9.2\S60_3rd_FP1\Epoc32\release\WINSCW\UDEB\HTTPClientExample.exe
    Same problem

    do one thing search for HTTPClientExample.exe in the epoc32 folder of the sdk & see if it si present at some other location

    I have checked, no anything, is it the problem of the program(code example)?

    if its not present then how can you be sure that the project compiled successfully, as if it has then the exe file must be present.

    Yep, I'm still suspecting the build to fail as I said in #3, since that is logical reason why the exe is not there

    If i have a Button Event CallSoftKeyPressedL(). I want to print the value of aCommand which is signed integer type.

    TBool CMobileDialerContainerView::CallSoftKeyPressedL( TInt aCommand )

    i have written the line to print the value of aCommand
    console->Printf(_L("%d"), aCommand);
    But it is giving me the error that console undeclared, First use this function. How should i print the value of aCommand

    Many (most?) everyday programming languages do not support the usage of undeclared variables. C++ is one of them.
    There is no default console in Symbian C++ GUI applications (as you seem to deal with a SoftKey, it seems to be a GUI application). It is not trivial to create one either, you may rather want to use a logfile instead, or popup notes.
    EDIT: as I see Pavarang already suggested you about logfiles in http://developer.nokia.com/Community...to-the-console. It may be worth mentioning here that neglecting answers you receive, and re-asking the very same question 30-40 minutes later in an other discussion may cast some "shadow" on you.
