    Invoking a different symbian application from within my Qt application

    Hello,

    I would like to know how to invoke a different symbian application from within my Qt application.

    So my current application is built with Qt will call and invoke a separate symbian application when a user clicks a button.

    As a side note in J2ME we were able to use: midlet.platformRequest and specify the UID of the symbian application being launched...is there something similar in Qt to do this?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    QProcess proc;

    connect( &proc, SIGNAL(error(QProcess::ProcessError)), this, SLOT(processError(QProcess::ProcessError)));
    connect( &proc, SIGNAL(started()), this, SLOT(processStarted()));
    proc.start("some_app.exe parm1 parm2");
