    Re: Tamil font

    what do you mean by "run the application in the Tamil language"? Does that mean that the emulator's local is Tamil? Or that you are using Tamil wording files in your application? what do you mean by "some meaningless word"? Is it another word? some random characters? some orthographical problem?

    Re: Tamil font

    Hi
    Thanks for the reply.
    for example if i create a label in the application
    Label l=new Label("price");
    if i change the language as "Tamil" then the coding is written as
    Label l=new Label("tpiy");
    here the application display the Tamil font

    here tpiy is the equal letter for price in Bamini font

    Display.getInstance().setThirdSoftButton(true);
    if i add the above coding then the program will automatically create the 3rd command button as SELECT for English that is no problem to me.

    if i use the same coding in the Tamil language selection, the SELECT button is displayed as Tamil character letter but it doesn't have a proper meaning.

    Please help me.

    Re: Tamil font

    Hi
    Thanks for reply.

    I have been using as follow as

    form.addCommand(new Command("tpUg;gq;fs;") {//Favorite
    public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent evt) {

    }});

    Here in the above coding tpUg;gq;fs; is equal vent word is Favorite in the Tamil supporting font named as "Bamini True Type"

    if i use more then 2 option button then LWUIT automatically added the "OPTION" command into the application
    for that command button "OPTION" I need the correct Tamil word should be displayed in the mobile application and also for the "SELECT" option

    NOTE:i had seen some of the application in the local language(Tamil) in that JAR file the "OPTION" command is in English
    but the center command is ie SELECT is in TAMIL font

    Please help me.
