    How to force TARGET drive in Qt project file?

    Hi,

    I know how to force target drive in PKG file and Qt DEPLOYMENT variable but I have not found how to force the project file TARGET to install in specific drive.

    The problem looks like this. I have in my Qt-pro file this:
    Code:
    TARGET = myapp
    TEMPLATE = app
    after qmake the myapp_template.pkg file has this deployment line:
    Code:
    ; Executable and default resource files
    "/epoc32/release/$(PLATFORM)/$(TARGET)/myapp.exe"    - "!:\sys\bin\myapp.exe"
    So the target drive is dynamic - user selectable !:\ How to I force this to e.g. c:\
    Code:
    ; Executable and default resource files
    "/epoc32/release/$(PLATFORM)/$(TARGET)/myapp.exe"    - "c:\sys\bin\myapp.exe"
    Is there some pro-file directive or other to do this. I have looked at DESTDIR and DESTDIR_TARGET but that does not do the trick.

    I would not like to manually edit PKG file every time after re-running qmake...

    Thanks!

    Re: How to force TARGET drive in Qt project file?

    Hi,

    The target path is hard-coded in the qmake generator code in Qt 4.7.1 (see \qmake\generators\symbian\symbiancommon.cpp), but that's about to change in the next release, I think.

    For now, your options are either to modify by hand, or automate it somehow - for example, by running perl -i.~ -pe "s/!:/c:/g" on the qmake-generated pkg file. Take a look at Customizing Makefile output in qmake docs.
