This is how i did it.
RegardsCode:MainWindow w; w.showFullScreen();
will do it?Code:menu->hide();
Have not tried this myself but I have seen this function for QMenu so perhaps it will work for you?
Black electrical tape works pretty well for my "Check engine" light -- maybe you should try that.
Thanks you all for answering,
@ ginda1 yes your option works,but the problem is i dont want my app in fullscreen mode just in maximized mode,
@Jon Heron,from what i QMenu is something different,i dont know,if someone can copy paste me a code example of how this is possible using QMenu,i''d apreaciate it
@danhicksbyron don't know what you mean,if you can please detail it :-s
If you are willing to use native code, you could:
CEikonEnv::Static()->AppUiFactory()->Cba()->MakeVisible(EFalse); (note that it might be good idea to add a check if Cba() exists)
Not sure whether or not the background underneath the CBA will get correctly drawn. If not, you might want to reset the extent of your window as well.
Hello Fuzzbender i have tried putting something like this in my main:
But didnt work,as i am a new to this maybe i wrote it wrong,browsed around but still didnt find any way to remove this default softkey,only to change its name or replace it,but when i remove the new softkey this one reappears,hmm Is removing it even possible?Or maybe another solution,i dont want my app in fullscreen mode because i want the top bar displayed( the one with the signal strenght,battery indicator etc),i saw it it possible to run an app in fullscreen with the bottom menu visible using window flags,can this be done only with the top bar visible?
Of course it can't work on simulator , i suppose it does on device#ifdef Q_OS_SYMBIAN
But didnt work,
Keep it simple, stupid
