    2nd edition signing issues

Hi. I have a tc certificate. Defined .cer and .key files and related password in my .pkg file. But with carbide when I try to build pkg file, it gives this error:

Error: cannot open private key, check password
error: cannot open file, check filename and access rights
    ***Non-Zero Status: makesis.exe returned with exit value = 1

With 3rd edition this password and cer files worked. But I didn`t declared them in pkg file, just selected under build configurations window.

There is no signsis.exe under 2nd tools, I guess makesis is responsible for signing. I tried signsis.exe to sign too, but no output & errors produced.

    Thanks.

Well, do what the tools says, check files's name, path and eventually password ...

Carbide signs without the passcode of .key file for 3rd Edition. But for 2nd when we declare certificate information in pkg file, it requests a password. Can`t we sign it without passcode?

    Re: 2nd edition signing issues

    Hi again,

    I found this:

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...&ct=clnk&gl=tr

I think there is a difference between 2nd and 3rd signing.

I followed the steps in that link. But got this error now:

C:\Users\VAIO\AppData\Local\Temp\MKS0\chain.cer: No such file or directory
error: cannot open file, check filename and access rights
unable to load PKCS7 object (must be base 64 encoded)
A certificate needs to start with -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----

    Problem solved.
