    j2me 5800 video streaming

    Hi all,

    I have an application that runs well on 5800. I play a video.
    I set its location out of the screen like x:-700, y = 0, width = 10, height = 10
    It runs well when the video is read from resources file. I hear the voice but I do not see anything. This is well.
    But When I use an rtsp link and start streaming, It plays again. I hear the voice. I don't see the video on the screen. This is well, too.
    But Just before starting the video, Some screens are seen at the top of the page. It continues about 1 second. Then It disappears. I don't want to see anything from the video. I have already set the position out of the screen.
    Why the video appears on the screen for a short time? How can I get rid of it?

    Thanks and regards.

    When I set the position inside the screen, It doesn't differ. Sam problem occurs. My code is exactly this:

    PHP Code:
    private void play(String url){
            try {

    Player mediaPlayer Manager.createPlayer(url);

    mediaPlayer.realize();

    VideoControl videoControl = (VideoControlmediaPlayer.getControl("VideoControl");

    videoControl.initDisplayMode(VideoControl.USE_DIRECT_VIDEOgame);

    videoControl.setVisible(true);

    mediaPlayer.start();

    videoControl.setDisplayLocation(0,0);

    videoControl.setDisplaySize(150,200);
            } catch (
    IOException ex) {
            } catch (
    MediaException ex) {
            }

    Re: j2me 5800 video streaming

    I resolved it by calling the mediaPlayer.prefetch() function as soon as after mediaPlayer.realize(); I was calling it after videoControl.setVisible(true);
