    Question concurrency question

    Hi,

I am maintaining a QList of objects in my application. Using a timer, I go through the list every five seconds and update some of the objects in the list. I also get notifications from the os to add new objects or update existing ones.

My question is: how can I tell how many threads running in my applications? If there are more than one, do I need a mutex to lock my code?

    Thanks
