How to insert elements in XML?

Is it possible to insert or remove a node or element in an existing xml file on my phone using Netbeans 6.9.1 and J2ME?

    As a really high-level answer:
XML file is just a text file and with JSR-75 (FileConnection API) you can read and write (text) files, so the answer is yes. Note that the XML file has to be placed in a directory your MIDlet has access to.

I see.. what xml parser do you usually use? I use kxml and I'm having a difficulty in inserting elements/nodes.. could you help me on it? I'm currently doing my thesis in my university though. A little help is must appreciated. By the way, thanks for the reply.
