Required software to develop for Symbian^3

    Hi

    I've just received a newsletter with a link to this : http://www.callingallinnovators.com/10m/

Here is a link to http://www.forum.nokia.com/Develop/Qt/, but at this page Symbian^3 is not mentioned at all.

So my question is pretty simple and obvious.

What do I need to download/setup in order to compile for Symbian^3?

My current setup is that I have carbide, Nokia Qt SDK 1.0.2 (Qt 4.6) and QtMobility 1.1.0 which I have developed our Qt application for s60 devices.

What extra stuff do I need to download?

    Best regards
    /Anders

I think that would be sufficient. Of course if you want to make use of some specific Symbian^3 C++ APIs, you could always also get the Symbian^3 SDK and use it from the QT Creator.

In our current app I have a small section surrounded with IFDEF __SS60_3X_ which is some S60 specific code - i.e. not QT.

I'm not sure I fully understand how I compile to run on Symbian^3.

If I just build my project, and get a resulting sis file with the above tools, should that then run on N8? Sounds to simple to believe after all the trouble I've had with Symbian.. ;-) But I will definately try it later today.

    /Anders
